A Return to Your Senses...

Here we are...that almost imperceptible slip of Autumn into Winter. Color...one of the first things we notice. The reds and golds of the leaves...the clear blue sky...the rising moon all encased in an orange haze. It's familiar to us...we witness inch-by-inch the individual leaves drop from their branches. We sense the light fade more quickly in the late afternoons. And then the Moon...now giving us another nod to the seasonal changes.

The Full Moon in Taurus. Enter the most magical full moon in the astrological sign of sensuality. And no...I don't mean Scorpio. Yet, Scorpio - and Taurus - come together now to remind us that they share this mantle of sensuality. Scorpio sun energy surrounds us now...maybe we have felt the burning desire to go more deeply with things...to understand ourselves with no filters...to go where we may have never gone before to disclose secrets...especially to ourselves. But now both Scorpio and Taurus share this idea of the senses to suggest and nudge us to understand the need to persevere...a Taurus strength...not really a sexy word..or is it? Scorpio energy holds hands with Taurus energy now during this full moon to be the way-showers to our feeling and knowing ourselves deeply (Scorpio) through our grounded, earthly senses (Taurus).

At this full moon try this on...ask yourself...when was the last time I fully "sensed" my World?

...that delicious crunch you tasted in that fresh Honeycrisp apple?

...the exquisite wonder of seeing the beauty of the colorful Sun at last evening's sunset?

...the haunting sound of the long-forgotten tune that plays as shuffle engages on your Spotify playlist?

...and who can resist the anticipation of feeling the warmth of the crisp evening fire burning in the fireplace and inhaling that wood-burning feeling of Home and being cared for? The Norwegians lovingly refer to it as peiskos...an indoor fireplace coziness...the feeling of well-being obtained from enjoying the warmth of a fireplace. What a sensuous Taurean expression!

So...let's get our senses on. Turn them up. Feel our feelings. See things again as if for the first time...

Feel it. Taste it. Hear it. See it. Touch it and let it touch us...be in touch with your own sensuality...Yeats would be proud...🌠
