The Strength of Trying-on Love...and the Perfect Fit

It's February. In the Northern Hemisphere, I see us in the middle of Winter. The energy surrounding feels a lot like waiting. Waiting is not a place where we feel comfortable. But to be fair, it can provoke a sense of hopefulness and patience if we are in a place of strength...but can equally put us in a mood of barrenness and little hope.

What is the purpose? To keep us uncomfortable...and a little bit bored with life?? I would argue that this is exactly the point. We are in the midst of Aquarius season with the quick and forceful and genius-focused energies of quick and forceful changes. The Universe gives us sunny days for a moment and the next a blizzard is possible. Uranian influences are all part of the Aquarian landscape as signs for us to awaken to the emptiness...not out of melancholy or boredom...but rather...how about let's view it as something like this...

A blank canvas for the artist

An erased blackboard for the mathematician

Empty beakers for the (al)chemist

The Clean Slate

We find ourselves confronted (so clearly an Uranian word) with a wake-up call asking, 

 
"now what...?"

Here's where our familiar talisman to moving forward in our day-to-day world...our Moon...is currently flavored with Leo energy...that feeling of being infused with the intensity of heart-centered bravery and courage and quiet dignity. I would sum it up as Strength. Full Moon in Leo wants to express (a great Leo word) what has been sheltered in your heart. Leo energy is fulfilled in our lives with those Fifth House expressions of "trying-on"...new activities...new creative pursuits...new relationships. We recognize these heart feelings when we are unsure, but try it anyway. Isn't that a current social definition of courage? I would add that it is also the energy of actively experiencing (Leo) what we want through the lens of what does not (or not yet) fulfill us.

The Perfect Fit. 

The message in February...your touchstone to gaining strength and this fit is to listen most closely and carefully to your heart. Connect the dots and discover what comes together in your perfect fit. Be brave and try things on...but remember to sample carefully and thoughtfully. Appreciate the others who have been part of your strength development. They have been your brave and courageous counterparts and have earned a place in your knowing heart...one that includes your victories of becoming you. And a welcome to the others who are next in your journey to your best creative life.
